Senior Dresden citizen Klaus Scheffler initiated the first Dresden International Seniors Golf Amateurs Championships in August 2011 with an overwhelming success.

The second edition of this event is scheduled to be carried out from 12th to 18th August 2012. Seniors from all over Europe are invited, with female participants aged 50 years and male participants 55 and older eligible to play. Both genders are rated separately in the tournament, while the game is played in four different handicap classes. The sportive event will last four days and take place on the two well known golf courses in Dresden under the auspices of the German ski jumping legend Jens Weissflog. The number of participants is limited to 250 active players.

Through the combination of golf, art and culture, the tournament is unique in its shape - a perfect event for all those who enjoy golf. The organizing team and the city of Dresden look forward to welcome you!
